Description
The goal of this design project is to diminish the barrier of transportation to secondary and tertiary healthcare facilities and services by developing and constructing a portable gynecological examination table for use by community healthcare and planning services workers in Ghana.
Being a part of GHDI is one of my most cherished and rewarding engineering experiences thus far. I was able to authentically engage with a community as well as the fields of healthcare, design, and engineering. The experience has continued to impact my decisions today.
